Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup cashews, unsalted, roasted
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala (pg. 67)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dark sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 3 teaspoon cardamom
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon, or 1 cinnamon stick
Method
  • Blend all ingredients for 2 minutes or until cashews are totally ground. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
